power vs. force

There is a fantastic book called POWER VS FORCE by David Hawkins. I recommend it to every sensible human on the planet. The idea is that Power always beats Force.

Like, investing in Power, Made in America, definitely beats using Force Abroad to get Power. Right?

So, lets think about this in terms of the current War in Iraq:

During Saddam's reign, electrical appliances were hard to get. When the USA came in to Iraq, suddenly the Iraqis could buy all the appliances they wanted. Unfortunately, the electrical grid system could not handle this sudden surge and has been faltering ever since. Add unpleasant elements bent on sabotaging anything productive and you've got a very unhappy population.

As far as I know, it is VERY SUNNY in Iraq. Solar applications would seem like a no-brainer. What a great way to win the hearts and minds of the Iraqi people! Get them electricity that is not dependent on the undependable grid system (solar roof panels)...and ideally, fresh water to go with it.

Lets be an American Power that serves the world by providing common sense solutions.

Is anybody out there talking about "ending poverty and disease" by
creating healthy sustainable communities via giving people the ability to
create their own energy?

We now have technology that is quite simple: BIO-GAS, it turns
trash into fuel, simple crops into energy. Check out www.eprida.org to see how
you can increase a farmer's income by 3X and increase soil fertility by
using the burned off biomass, charcoal, to create topsoil; do carbon
sequestration and be part of the carbon sequestration trade credit system which is
really a new trade currency, the Terra. In one year, thanks to a billion dollar
production initiative, we will have solar panels that will sell for
$1 a panel. Right now those same panels cost $700.

There is a strategy that does not involve band aids. There is a
strategy for freeing people from dependency on larger powers. There is a
strategy for empowering communities and creating healthy empowered humans who
live in concert with their environments. It is based on the idea of self-
sufficiency and the same paradigm of human health and energy and community
health and energy.

Lets give communities the tools and
technologies to be sustainable and truly free.
