power vs. force

There is a fantastic book called POWER VS FORCE by David Hawkins. I recommend it to every sensible human on the planet. The idea is that Power always beats Force.

Like, investing in Power, Made in America, definitely beats using Force Abroad to get Power. Right?

So, lets think about this in terms of the current War in Iraq:

During Saddam's reign, electrical appliances were hard to get. When the USA came in to Iraq, suddenly the Iraqis could buy all the appliances they wanted. Unfortunately, the electrical grid system could not handle this sudden surge and has been faltering ever since. Add unpleasant elements bent on sabotaging anything productive and you've got a very unhappy population.

As far as I know, it is VERY SUNNY in Iraq. Solar applications would seem like a no-brainer. What a great way to win the hearts and minds of the Iraqi people! Get them electricity that is not dependent on the undependable grid system (solar roof panels)...and ideally, fresh water to go with it.

Lets be an American Power that serves the world by providing common sense solutions.
